Homeschool games should be fun for the children and a well designed game can be fun and educational too.

Some games teach strategies, patience, taking turns, etc.  A child's social skills can ge reinforced and improved with a good game too. Plus, it's called a 'game' because the child has FUN while playing it.

Learning how to take turns, how to listen to instructions as well as how to properly follow instructions are social skills that can all be taught and improved with a well designed game. 

Of course some games can teach how to play as a team (cooperative action) as well as how to plan ahead and learn to develop strategies.

There are lots of choices out there including board games, online games and computer games.
